Meet Simon Morris…
Ithika Recruitment is an exciting project for me. With extensive experience in IT recruitment, I saw a need that brought together all of that knowledge and experience built into a business with a foundation of great drivers: honesty, integrity and true consultancy - helping talented people and incredible organisations to make the world a better place.

I am passionate about the great companies I work with, the brilliant people I represent and making the best matches of people to organisations so that companies see sustainable growth and candidates have brilliant careers, not just jobs.
A snapshot of Simon’s career…
2004
A fresh-faced nineteen-year-old, I started my career in IT Recruitment. Mark Scott gave me my first role in the industry and laid the foundations of true consultancy, not sales.
2005
I won the first ever ‘Rising Star’ award at Suffolk Recruitment Awards. This was a new award, created for me off the back of my early success. They wanted to recognise up-and-comers in the industry and I was honoured to be the first recipient.
2006
Amongst many other great clients, I helped build the team at a BT spin-out that created one of the world’s first mobile content delivery platforms (think precursor to app stores today).
2010
I passed the REC Certificate in Recruitment practice, achieving a Merit and top score in my class.
2011
I recruited for the team that delivered facilities software to the London 2012 Olympics (that company went on to support Project Nightingale in 2020).
2015
I supported and established the first growth phase of a new recruitment business, working with companies involved with CareTech, FinTech, Gaming and more.
2017
I joined a new company and launched their first IT Recruitment division. I went on to establish it as the top-performing permanent team in the company, breaking various records.
2017 – 2019
I built teams for the first online estate agency, a global InsureTech recognised as one of the world’s most ethical companies, HealthTech, GreenTech, AI and more.
2020
I launched Ithika Recruitment, bringing together all of my experience, passions and drivers.
2021
I placed 30 fantastic people in new jobs, partnering truly world-class talent with world-class companies.
To date I am proud to have worked with GreenTech, EdTech, InsureTech, FinTech, a company delivering to the Olympics, Project Nightingale, a company keeping the supply chain moving during the pandemic, an ethical verification platform and many, many more.
